Emphasis in biblical studies
The way our degree programs are developed reflect the fact we believe in the centrality of biblical text in all matter of theological inquiry. Such an emphasis on the Bible means that Biblical Studies will occupy most of the training conducted at FTBM. This includes four semesters of each of the biblical languages (Hebrew and Greek) at the Bachelor’s Degree level and two semesters of each at the Associate’s Degree.
Teaching in Malagasy
Although our teaching is essentially in Malagasy (with a few occasional exceptions), we offer you the possibility of conducting your personal research in any or all of three languages (Malagasy, English, and French).
flexible Programs
We follow the credit hours system where each course is worth a certain number of credit hours. You must complete a certain number of credits to receive a degree.
According to your situation and disponility, you can complete theses credits at your own pace. Indeed, you will have the flexibility to choose the number of courses you want to take in the beginning of each semester.
affordability
Since we offer a 100% online education, our tuition and fees are lower, not counting the transportation costs that are very limited.

I am not baptist. Can I apply?
Although our theology is baptist, we welcome anyone from other denominations who wants to deeper his/her knowledge in the Word of God.
I am a woman. Can I apply?
Studying theology is not reserved to men. The Bible teaches that men and women are one in Christ (Gal 3.28-29). As disciples of Christ, women need theology to teach, disciple, mentor, and counsel other women of their churches. Therefore, women are more than welcome to study in our seminary in order to be equipped for God’s work.
