About
Charissa Wilson is originally from West Texas and currently resides in Nashville, TN. While at Dallas Baptist, Charissa worked as an English language tutor with the Intensive English Program and also with students through International Student Services. She has had the opportunity to lead informal conversational English clubs through World Relief, Catholic Charities, and Baptist churches in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area. She has taught K-5th grade ESL students online with VIPKid and has academic English coaching experience for master’s and doctoral level students.
During her master’s and doctoral work, Charissa has had a leading role in several academic student societies which have individually promoted collegiality in critical study of the biblical text, women in theological scholarship, and archaeological study.
